Specialized therapy for women in midlife, healing anxiety, depression, and trauma with an integrated approach blending person-centered, behavioral, and strengths-based principles with EMDR therapy.
There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes in the middle of life. Not from doing too little, but from giving so much for so long that you have lost track of yourself along the way. Maybe you're watching your kids leave home and wondering who you are now. Maybe you're lying awake with anxiety that has no clear explanation or carrying grief that keeps resurfacing no matter how hard you push it down. Maybe the faith that once anchored you no longer fits. Whatever brought you here, what you're feeling makes sense.
As a woman in midlife myself, I understand from the inside what it means to stand at one of those crossroads where the life you've built and the person you're becoming might not align. My work is about helping women find solid ground again, not by going back to who you were, but by discovering who you are becoming.
I offer a small, focused practice centered on the kinds of work I'm trained in and care most deeply about. Every engagement begins with a free consultation.
Private-pay practice. Superbills provided upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please verify your out-of-network benefits with your insurance provider prior to starting services.
"Not by going back to who you were, but by discovering who you are becoming."
Many women carry experiences they have never fully processed, things that happened years ago that still show up in their body, their relationships, or the way they see themselves. EMDR is a gentle but deeply effective approach that helps the brain and nervous system work through what talk therapy alone sometimes cannot reach.
EMDR is an evidence based practice where reprocessing helps your brain naturally heal from difficult or overwhelming experiences that may still feel emotionally charged. Through guided bilateral stimulation, memories are gently integrated so they no longer feel stuck in the past, allowing you to connect with a more adaptive, grounded sense of yourself in the present.
If something isn't here, reach out. I'm happy to answer questions before you book a consultation.
I am a private-pay practice. I provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans offer 50–80% reimbursement after a deductible is met.
Sessions take place over a HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll need a private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera. Many clients find virtual sessions just as effective as in-person, and far easier to fit into a real schedule.
It's a 15-minute video call where we talk about what brings you to therapy and whether my approach feels like a fit. There's no commitment and no charge.
It varies. Some clients see meaningful change on a single, focused issue in a few sessions. Others, particularly those working with complex or developmental trauma, engage in longer-term work.
No. One thing many clients appreciate about EMDR is that it doesn't require lengthy verbal recounting of difficult memories. We work with the body and brain's processing, not with retelling.
Individual sessions are $175 for 53 minutes. The initial intake session is $200. I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee slots. Please ask if cost is a barrier.
If any of this resonates, reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. It's a low-pressure conversation to see if we might be a good fit. Morning and afternoon availability throughout Washington state.
